Bone Crunching Action (BCA) Checklist

Jakks Pacific’s first foray into making WWF Wrestling Figures began with the Bone Crunching Action (BCA) line in 1996. The series had standard limited articulation but some joints in the legs and arms would make a crunching noise when posed. After nine primary series, the Bone Crunching Action style largely came to an end with the introduction of Titan Tron Live (TTL) in 1999. Titan Tron Live would be the standard line of figures released throughout wrestling’s attitude era up until 2002. Though the primary line came to an end, KB Toys released an exclusive line of BCA style figures called Backlash from 2000-2001. The first set was rumored to have 123 Kid, but was replaced by Goldust by the time lineups were released. Bone Crunching Action BCA (2001-2003) (Real Scan Era) > Jakks Pacific – Wrestling

Jakks announced a new lineup under the “Bone Crunching Action” banner some time into the Titan Tron Live line. The newer BCA body styles saw many newer characters to the line, however they were in scale with TTL figures and not the prior BCA style. These figures were also updated with real scan technology heads instead of the sculpted versions from the previous BCA line. Collectors resented the stylistic change, and with little to no demand for the style they were quickly forgotten.

Eighteen different characters were made in the newer BCA mold style, and many of them were re-released with alternate attires. All characters released include:
A-Train, Big Show, Billy Gunn, Booker T, Brock Lesnar, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Christian, Dudley Boys, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, and Undertaker.

Prototypes and/or sculpts were shown online or at Toy Fair of Rikishi, Farooq, and Bradshaw.
